Sorting and cleaning
In common green coffee bought from the market, there may be several defects and impurities:
ferrous bodies, residues of soil, dust, stones, sticks, scraps, immature and defective beans and other foreign bodies.
These can be separated from the coffee using specific tools such as:
vibrating sieves combined with suction
densimetric tables/ gravity table machines
opto-electronic colour sorting machines
centralized filters for dust collecting
A cleaning plant is therefore an effective guarantee of a high quality of production and helps to preserve the integrity of the machinery in the next processing steps.
